SPECIAL MOTHER'S DAY SCHEDULE
SUNDAY, MAY 13, 2007
This Sunday only, LordsWay Baptist Church is doing some extra special in celebration of all moms and grandmothers.  There will be NO Sunday School services.  The regular worship service is being moved up to 9:45 AM instead of the normal 10:45 AM schedule.  After the worship service, the church is treating the entire congregation to FREE SUNDAY LUNCH BUFFET STYLE at the Great American Steak & Buffet Company, located at 7904 N. Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach. Everyone is welcome to come to church that morning and bring your entire family.  Whoever is at church is invited to go to the Great American Steak & Buffet Company for a free lunch!  The church is treating everyone!  Spread the word!

IGNITE YOUTH AND STUDENT MINISTRIES
NOW MOVED TO WEDNESDAY NIGHTS
Effective Wednesday night, May 16th, the IGNITE YOUTH AND STUDENT MINISTRIES services are being moved to Wednesday nights so that while our young people are enjoying their teen Bible study, games, praise music with CrossTied™ and fellowship with one another, the parents can attend the Wednesday Night Bible Study on Prayer.  Services will start at 6:30 PM.  We will also be discontinuing the food initially until we all get settled into our new schedules and then see how it all goes!!!  We greatly appreciate all of the volunteers in the church who have fed our young people in the past.  We may resume it at some future time, but for now, we're going to focus on other aspects of our IGNITE YOUTH AND STUDENT MINISTRIES.

YOUTH DRIVERS
The Youth Advisory Council is now looking for couples who would like to volunteer to help us on Wednesday nights to get our youth to and from their homes safely.  Depending upon how many volunteers we get, you wouldn't have to do it each week.  It's important that these be couples because often times there may be young girls needing rides.  The policies of the church require that girls be accompanied home by another female, and boys be accompanied home by another male.  If you're willing to volunteer, see Courtney Duncan or Randy and they'll fill you in on how the program works.

SPECIAL FOCUS ON DYNAMIC PRAYING
DURING NEXT SEVERAL WEEKS AT WEDNESDAY BIBLE STUDY
A new Bible Study has been incorporated into our Wednesday evening Prayer Service.  The name of the study is "Dynamic Prayer Meeting" and it will last for 26 weeks.  It was designed by John Franklin and intended to be used in conjunction with his book And the Place Was Shaken.  Our hope is to get everyone trained in the deep spiritual significance of prayer and how it is effective in building your personal relationship with God.  One of our assignments this past week was to come up with a church prayer request, which is shown below.  Will you join us in praying for this request each and every day?  It would also be great for you to join us for this special Bible Study.  No extra books needed.  Just your Bible.
