There are larger churches, fancier churches, older churches, and more established churches.  But if you're searching for a really active, dynamic, spirit-filled church where people are genuinely real and nice to you, where you can see the church growing and exploding right before your eyes, where people are happy serving God, then the chances are you won't find a better one than LordsWay Baptist Church.

This isn't a large church -- yet!  But with 23 new members in October, November and December alone, the growth rate is unbelievable.  When new families, couples and individuals come to the church once and sense what's going on, they come back and back and then join the church.  It's all you could want in a church home for your family.

The church itself is only 4 years old, and has been in its present church building for less than 2 years.  Already a new fellowship hall and a greatly expanded child care development center is planned for construction this summer.  The church owns around 11 acres, with plenty of room to expand the sanctuary and add more wings as needed. 

The church has lots of youth and plenty of activities to keep them interested and involved.  The youth ministry is called IGNITE!  The main music for virtually every worship service features the praise music of CrossTied.  Yes, there's an Adult Choir, but they provide the special music on Sundays.  The CrossTied praise band provides the rest. Your children will love it! 

Rev. Michael R. Stewart, our pastor, gives some of the most powerful, heart-rendering, soul-touching sermons you'll find anywhere.  The praises and testimonies, and the prayers that you'll hear are absolute affirmations that God is at work in this church!  There is this great expectancy -- which is our faith in action -- that God is in the process of flooding our church with visitors and new members, and we're busy as we can be making preparations for it!

But what is most remarkable about the church -- in addition to the incredibly strong presence of God -- is the church family of people there. The loving spirit and genuine caring of the congregation makes the members truly feel like family to one another.

This is a group of people who love their Lord and each other so much, that after Sunday services, it's become virtually a tradition for members to all go out and have a Sunday lunch together.

This is also a group of people who love their Lord and each other so much, that as people in the congregation face difficult times and go through dark storms (we all do!), you can just see the remaining congregation surround them with love, encouragement and assistance while they pull through their circumstances.
