What Can God Do For My Kids?

First He can save them.  He can protect them.  He can turn them around.  He can give them a purpose for their lives.  He can give them joy and peace.  He can help them resist temptations.  He can give them a compass between what's wrong and right.  He can help them overcome addictions.  He can help clean up their language.  And when they fall down into the deepest holes imaginable, He can miraculously reach down, pull them up and bring them home to you safely again.  God does miracles for kids every single day.

Parents have a rough road to hold in today's society. They need all the help for their children they can get.  Where better to turn to for that help than to God?  He knows where your kids are at all times.  He knows what's around the corner, who's trying to mess with their lives, and what it takes to keep them safe from harm's way.  God sees things that we simply can't see.  And when young people and their parents are praying to Him asking for His guidance and protection, God listens and pays attention.

Nothing is more precious to Jesus than young children.  The sooner they get to know Jesus, understand what He and the heavenly Father have to offer them, and learn to follow Jesus, the better it's going to be for everyone. 

How do you do that?  You show them by example.  You get involved in a good church.  You get them involved in the church's youth ministry program.  You show them by example how important God is to your own life.

At LordsWay Baptist Church, we have an active youth and student ministries program.  Our IGNITE program is designed to keep the fire lit in our kids for God -- to let them know that God is very, very real and has a special purpose and direction for their lives. 

Every Wednesday night we have our IGNITE YOUTH AND STUDENT MINISTRIES service at 6:30 PM.  Once a month, we also have a special IT'S SATURDAY IGNITE LIVE! program.  Then every Sunday, we have our Sunday School and Worship time with the youth.  In between those services, we also go bowling, skating, attend special concerts, have parties, lock-ins, progressive dinners, and all sorts of other things for relaxation and fun.  In addition, we go on retreats, hold Youth Rallies and once a year, hold special week-long Youth Revivals.

If your kids are hanging around with the wrong kids, maybe they need to be hanging around with our kids, so they can learn to live a better life with their God and personal Savior!  We'll even come and get them, and then return them home to you safely after services. But when you can, come with them too.  You're always welcome, and it'll show your kids that what they do with their everyday lives really matters to you, too.  Sometimes kids don't see that.  They feel like they're totally on their own. 

We're not about entertaining kids, although kids have a blast with us.  We're more about showing them a happier, better, safer lifestyle that will take them where they want to be in their lives -- instead of down the road to self-destruction!

God can do miraculous things for your kids!!!  He really can!
